A rather rare black enamel dial with gold minute stamps, large Roman numerals and gold hands. Natural polished glass. The IWC watch movement is gold-plated, Swiss-made in excellent safe and working condition. High accuracy and reliability of the stroke. The watch is equipped with a chain and a gift box made specifically for antique pocket watches. The diameter of the blued watch case is 49 mm.

Louis William Gabu was born on May 6, 1847 in Le Locle, Switzerland. At the age of twenty, he came to Russia, where he opened his watchmaking business. In 1868, the Trading House "V. GABYU" appeared in Moscow, workshops and a watch salon are located on Nikolskaya Street.
